For Frederik, Portanoble is not just the realization of a personal ambition, but also an attempt to leave a lasting impression in interior architecture. His products combine elegance with functionality.

Alain Monnens is the designer and founder of his award-winning product design studio, established in 2006 and based in Belgium.
His specialization in lighting, furniture, and objects showcases minimalist elegance and maximum functionality. For Alain, true design is about the harmonious integration of form and function. His philosophy, based on the art of reduction, emphasizes that less often means more.
Alain's work transcends traditional boundaries. He sees design for various sectors as a dynamic form of cross-pollination, which has not only distinguished his studio but also earned him international recognition.
Over the years, his exceptional designs have earned him prestigious awards, including the Henry Van de Velde Label, the iF Design Award, and multiple Red Dot Design Awards.
